By accessing and using the Eclipse Thrust website and booking our retreat services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are not authorized to use our services. Eclipse Thrust reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, with changes effective upon posting to the website. Continued use constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
2.1 Retreat Services: Eclipse Thrust provides curated wellness retreat experiences featuring authentic Japanese onsen (hot spring) bathing, traditional ryokan accommodations, therapeutic treatments, cultural education, and wellness coaching. Our services are provided in partnership with select ryokan facilities throughout Japan.
2.2 Website Services: We provide informational content about onsen culture, health and wellness topics, and retreat booking capabilities through our website and mobile applications.
2.3 Service Variations: We reserve the right to modify retreat itineraries, substitute facilities or service providers with comparable alternatives, or adjust scheduling based on operational needs, weather, or unforeseen circumstances. We will provide notice of significant changes when possible.
3.1 Age of Majority: By booking a retreat, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or have obtained parental or guardian consent. Those under 18 must have an accompanying adult who assumes responsibility for compliance with these terms.
3.2 Health and Fitness: You represent that you are in adequate physical and mental health to participate in our retreat activities. Participants with medical conditions should consult their physician before booking.
3.3 No Prohibited Use: You agree not to use our services for any illegal, fraudulent, or prohibited purpose, including violation of intellectual property rights, harassment, or transmission of harmful content.
4.1 Booking Process: Reservations are made through our website or by contacting our team. A confirmed booking requires submission of reservation details and payment of a deposit as specified in our booking confirmation.
4.2 Accuracy of Information: You are responsible for providing accurate personal, health, and contact information. Inaccurate information may affect the quality of your retreat experience or result in service denial.
4.3 Confirmation: Your retreat is confirmed upon receipt of deposit payment and a confirmation email from Eclipse Thrust. Review all details carefully and notify us of errors within 48 hours.
4.4 Availability: We confirm retreat availability at the time of booking. Once confirmed, your retreat date and type are reserved exclusively for you.
5.1 Pricing: All prices are stated in Japanese Yen unless otherwise specified. Prices include accommodations, onsen access, meals as described, group activities, and specified treatments. Additional services and purchases are billed separately.
5.2 Deposit and Final Payment: A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure your reservation. Final payment of the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your retreat arrival date.
5.3 Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards, international bank transfers, and approved payment plans. All payments are processed securely through industry-standard channels.
5.4 Currency and Fees: International bookings may be subject to foreign exchange fees and bank charges. You are responsible for any fees charged by your financial institution.
5.5 Late Payment: If final payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and apply cancellation fees.
6.1 Cancellation Deadlines: Cancellations made more than 60 days before your retreat start date receive a refund of paid amounts minus the non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made 30-60 days prior receive 50% refund of paid amounts. Cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable.
6.2 No-Show Policy: Failure to arrive for your retreat without notice results in forfeiture of all payments.
6.3 Eclipse Thrust Cancellations: If we cancel a retreat due to operational issues, force majeure, or facility unavailability, we offer a full refund or rebooking on comparable dates at no additional cost.
6.4 Voluntary Withdrawal: If you choose to leave your retreat early for any reason other than a safety issue or Eclipse Thrust error, no refund is provided for remaining services.
6.5 Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances affecting your participation.
7.1 Health Disclosure: You must disclose all relevant health conditions, medications, allergies, and medical concerns during booking. Undisclosed conditions may result in service denial if they create safety risks.
7.2 Medical Clearance: Participants with certain conditions (pregnancy, heart disease, high fever, open wounds, infectious illness) must obtain physician clearance before participating.
7.3 Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that onsen bathing and wellness activities involve inherent risks. You voluntarily assume these risks and release Eclipse Thrust and partner facilities from liability for injury or illness arising from normal participation.
7.4 Emergency Procedures: Eclipse Thrust staff are trained in basic first aid. For serious medical emergencies, we will contact local emergency services immediately. You are responsible for emergency medical costs.
7.5 Safety Rules: You agree to follow all safety instructions, facility rules, and staff guidance. Failure to comply may result in immediate removal from the retreat without refund.
8.1 Prohibited Conduct: Guests agree not to engage in disruptive, aggressive, discriminatory, or harassing behavior toward staff, other guests, or facilities. Violence, threats, or sexual misconduct are strictly prohibited.
8.2 Substance Use: We maintain a substance-free environment. Alcohol consumption is discouraged, and recreational drugs are prohibited. Intoxicated guests may be asked to leave without refund.
8.3 Facility Care: You agree to treat all facilities, furnishings, and equipment with respect. You are liable for damage caused by your negligence or misconduct.
8.4 Quiet Hours: Retreat facilities maintain quiet hours from 21:00 to 08:00. Excessive noise during these times may result in removal.
8.5 Respect for Others: Guests must respect the privacy, comfort, and experience of other guests and staff, including adherence to meditation times and communal bathing etiquette.
9.1 Website Content: All content on the Eclipse Thrust website, including text, images, graphics, logos, and retreat materials, is our property or licensed from third parties. Reproduction, redistribution, or use without permission is prohibited.
9.2 User-Generated Content: Content you create during your retreat (photographs, testimonials) remains your property. By sharing such content with us, you grant Eclipse Thrust a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display it for marketing purposes unless you opt out.
9.3 Confidentiality: Proprietary retreat methods, staff training materials, and operational information are confidential. You agree not to disclose or misuse this information.
10.1 AS-IS Basis: Our website and services are provided on an "as-is" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that services will meet all expectations, be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of malware.
10.2 Indirect Damages: Eclipse Thrust is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
10.3 Liability Cap: Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your retreat or website services, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Eclipse Thrust, its officers, employees, and partners from all claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: your violation of these terms, your use of our services, your infringement of third-party rights, your conduct at our facilities, or any claims by other guests or third parties related to your actions.
Eclipse Thrust is not responsible for service interruptions, cancellations, or modifications caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, terrorism, government actions, or infrastructure failures. In such cases, we will offer rebooking or refunds as appropriate.
13.1 Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13.2 Arbitration: Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Tokyo, Japan, unless prohibited by law. Arbitration is conducted in English by a mutually agreed-upon arbitrator.
13.3 Legal Proceedings: Each party waives the right to trial by jury and agrees to pursue claims only through arbitration or in courts located in Tokyo, Japan.
13.4 Notice: For disputes, provide written notice to Eclipse Thrust at the address below, describing the issue and requested resolution. Eclipse Thrust will respond within 30 days.
14.1 Permitted Use: The website is for your personal, non-commercial use. You may view, download, and print content for personal reference only.
14.2 Prohibited Activities: You agree not to: reproduce or distribute content without permission, create derivative works, attempt to reverse-engineer or hack the website, transmit viruses or malware, scrape data, or use the site for competitive advantage.
